A frog he would a wooing go
A parody on a song called, A Frog He Would A Wooing Go
“A frog he would a wooing go a hum”
merrily I sing as to my guitar I strum.
And my mind goes a wondering to where a frog-gy might go.
Through the rivers and the mountains I roam.
And in an instance I find myself under a rock checking out a ‘new home.’
Where “a frog-gy would a wooing go” blowing bubbles of foam.
And as I sing my merry song I imagine what it must be like
jumping here and there croaking in the night.
Doing all manner of frog-gy things,
“a frog he would a wooing go” I sing.
‘A humming’ and ‘a croaking’ and ‘a jumping’ all over the land,
as I sing my song with my guitar in hand.
And when my song is finished, I suddenly notice the sounds of a thousand frogs,
as if they had been singing along out there is the dewy swamp.
And so I begin to sing another verse;
“Said Miss mouse-sy will you marry me a hum.
Said Miss mouse-sy will you marry me a hum.
Said Miss mouse-sy will you marry me a hum.
We’ll live together in an apple tree,
a hum, a hum, a hum a hum.”
And as I sing this verse my mind goes a wondering again.
Only this time I am a mouse.
“Said miss mouse-sy will you marry me, we’ll live together in an apple tree
a hum, a hum, a hum a hum.”
