Garage sales

For every garage sale there’s so much junk!

It seems that people just empty out what’s in the old 'garage trunk.'

Stuff from the sixties, stuff from the seventies.

Old outdated electronic gadgets and old bits of machinery.

And so you have to ask the seller, “What does this do?” but often even they don’t seem to know.

It’s stuff that should have been thrown out 'long ago.'

Bits and pieces and pieces and bits,

stuff that would be more suitable termed, ‘garbage.’

But I don’t go there for the junk; I go there for the bargains.
