Giving up power every once in a while

“Hear ye, hear ye, the king will be absent today, let the Jester run the country.”

“And the king! what will he be doing while the Jester is running the country?”

“I will be gone fishing.”

“As you will your majesty, but I prey the Jester may not be up to the job.”

“Ah nonsense, the Jester is a master at seeing humor; it will do you all good not to be so serious.”

“And it will do me good not to always be in control.”
