Hypothetical question

When a politician is asked a ‘hypothetical question,’

In his minds eye he sees you handing him a rope

And he really hears you saying,

“Would you like to hang yourself.”

This is of course is when he thinks the

hypothetical question will damage his cause.

But if he thinks it will damage the oppositions cause,

He will still see you handing him a rope, but this time he hears you saying.

“Would you like to hang the opposition with this rope?”

The answer to the former example of a hypothetical question is;

“I don’t deal in hypothetical questions.”

The answer to the latter hypothetical question is;

A descriptive and detailed analysis of the hypothetical question.
