Book 22 Page 35

I can’t wait for my birthday

“I can’t wait for my eighteenth birthday”

said the seventeen year old.

“I can’t wait for my twenty first birthday”

thought the twenty year old.

“I can wait for my next birthday,” thought the seventy five year old.

I have finally learnt how to wait for all sorts of things.

And although I enjoyed '‘not wanting to wait'’ when I was young,

I especially enjoy being at peace now.

Yes, my new found ability to wait has given me much joy and peace.
