Book 25 Page 46

I could never be a poet

I could never be a poet,

I can barely think of a word that rhymes with ‘cat.’

So how about that!!!

I could never be a poet

because when I think about ‘love’ I go all mushy inside

and my feelings take over.

I could never be a poet

I just haven’t got it in me to make rhythm and rhyme come alive.

I tell you; I just haven’t got the drive.

O I could never be a poet

Cause I know; I’d just blow it.
