If I could be romantic, I would
I would compare thee to the roses in the garden,
but I don’t like flowers.
I would pluck the stars from the heavens and hand them to you,
but I’m not into astronomy.
I would write you poems expressing my undying love for you,
But I’m not that clever with words.
Instead, I kneel at your bosom,
(This I can do saying,)
“I love you.”
