It’s inevitable

At the age of five, I just never thought about it.

At the age of fifteen, I didn’t think it true somehow.

At the age of 45 I thought it would come true, but I tended to put it out of my head.

And now at the age of 65, I think about it all the time.

And yes … for the first time in my life I seriously consider,

“someday I am going to die.”
