Loud political voices
Loud voices
in my ear.
Calling everyone
“a rebel, / a radical, / a non welcome queer.”
Those loud voices
oozing from the houses of parliament.
And I ask;
what is it that they wish to prevent!?
Do they speak a productive dialogue?
Is it a healthy discussion!?
What do those political loud mouths want to achieve,
with their ‘loud mouth opinionated percussions’?
Loudly they spread their particular disease,
of human unrest and human unease.
Of displeasure in everything it seems,
everything that is that is in the slightest bit, ‘unusual.’
Borders become tightened,
Prejudices’ become heightened,
to the point of sounding
‘all so normal and proper.’
Loud intolerant words uttered,
- as classic sentiments of ignorance
and prejudice and intolerance
are sputtered.
Loud voices everywhere it seems.
O it’s enough to make you
want to …
join in and shout, …
“stop!”
