Me and my television screen

I’ve got this relationship

with the television screen.

Oh the places

we’ve been.

Been around the world

a hundred times.

Me and that other half

of mine.

I snuggle into bed

and every moment I devour,

staring at the TV screen (as if in love)

for hours and hours.

We’ve shared so much joy together,

you could say it's a match made in heaven,

Me and channel 9,

channel 10 and channel 7.

Oh the places

I’ve seen,

me and my

‘television screen.’
