Old Mother Hubbard

(Song)

Old Mother Hubbard

went to the cupboard,

to fetch her poor dog a

bone.

When she got there

she saw the

cupboard was bear,

so the poor little dog had none.

-------------

Well old Mother Hubbard

was quite devastated,

it had happened so

many times before.

Being frail and old

hungry and cold,

and forever left out

wanting more.

-----------------

So old Mother Hubbard

went back to her bed,

and dwelt on her harsh

circumstance.

On an old age pension

it’s all apprehension,

a day to day hard slog

finance.

---------------

And the poor little dog,

Her poor little dog,

The poor little dog had none.
