Rebel without a pause

/ You name the dictator

He was a rebel without a cause

and a rebel without a pause.

Constantly oppressing his people, /

constantly making things worse.

He couldn’t see his people dieing,

he was a drain on the country and curse.

For he couldn’t see what was going on,

for his ‘ego’ clouded his vision.

What little vision he had!!!

And many wanted to him ousted,

but few dared to speak out aloud.

And so for years the country kept going backward,

under his dark political cloud.

And finally that dictator got ill

he died before he was killed.

And the whole country went into celebrations,

a dancing from roof tops and hill.

But their celebrations were quickly abated,

when the dictators brother took his place.

For he was even more hated,

a man without a shred of honor or grace.

For he too was a rebel,

A rebel without a cause,

a rebel without a pause.

a rebel in control of the law.
