Satirical verse
/ a dictionary definition
Satirical verse;
say one thing,
mean another.
Pretend to please;
but mean
to bother.
It’s an oxy moron;
A contradiction
in terms.
A flippant statement;
With a somber
Concern.
It’s the writer playing the clown;
with a solemn
frown.
Expressing a hope;
While cracking a
Joke.
It’s like saying something serious;
While being
delirious.
Satirical verse;
A writers secret pretense,
played out upon the reader.
