The animals come out

The frogs in the night go,

croak - croak - croak,

as they all come awake hidden

under their night time cloak.

The crickets in the night go,

creek - creek - creek.

The bats go squeak - squeak - squeak, squeak - squeak - squeak.

And Iím having a hard time

getting to sleep - sleep - sleep.

There are possums in the roof

and the mice are at play.

O Why donít they all come out

when itís the; day - day - day.

The animals in the night

go croak - creek - and squeak,

just when itís time for me to get some,

sleep - sleep -sleep.
