The arms race cycle

We sell the guns so that they can defeat their enemy.

They in turn defeat their enemy and start shooting back at us.

And so we start selling their defeated enemy guns.

And the cycle repeats itself ad infinitum.

And we make a lot of money.

It’s called “the arms trade”.
