The copy cat guru

The copy cat guru laughs,

if you yourself happen to laugh.

He cries,

if you burst into tears.

And sighs,

when you breathed out relief.

For the copy cat guru does,

just what you do.

And you may think,

he really kidding around.

You may feel,

he’s insulting your name.

But he just wants to mirror you back,

and do exactly, ‘the same.’

And so if you are hurt,

he pretends to be hurting too.

If you give praise,

he does just the same.

And even when you die,

he will die with you too.

For the copy cat Guru

stands eternally within,

And knows not of right and wrong,

or that thing we call ‘sin.’

Living both within body and above,

living in the form of great love.

Reflecting the self,

              laughing back,

                            Crying back,

always loving back.

For this is the copy cat Guru’s

forte and knack is to,

eternally and always 'mirroring back.'
