Book 25 Page 2

The man who opens doors

The man who opens doors,

he knows all the right people.

For the affluent and the influential seem to flock to him

like flies to treacle.

For it’s as though they all owe him a favor

and so they seem to be so glad to help him out.

‘He’ (the man,) the man who opens doors

seems to know ‘what life’s really all about.’

And yes! I confess, I to have called on him at times

and now like him I to am rich and famous.

All because of the man who opens doors

and his capitalistic sway and industriousness.

And so I say to you! every one should have one,

-an influential man on their side,-

so that you can, … - well put it this way, -

“get ahead in life and get a foot inside.”

For the ‘man who opens doors’ knows everyone, /

he’s been there and done that.

The man who opens doors seems to have the whole world at his feet

like it was some kind of ‘door mat.’

And yes! the man who opens doors is quite multi talented with word,

he’s got all the right kind of hype.

And so I say to you with all sincerity,

“you need a man like this to get along in life.”
