The senses combine
The monkey that could not hear,
asked the other two who could hear;
“Can you hear any evil?
“O no” they replied,
“We cannot hear any evil.”
The monkey that could not see,
asked the other two monkeys who could see;
“Can you see any evil?”
“O no” they replied,
“We cannot see any evil.”
The monkey that could not speak,
Gestured to the other two monkeys who could speak,
“Can you speak any evil?”
“O no” they replied,
“We cannot speak any evil.”
And so; because they were all very smart monkeys and had the right questions to ask, they each received knowledge that would have normally been otherwise unobtainable.
And so because of their great skills communication and cooperation, each monkey could be quite sure and comfortable that there was, ‘no evil.’
