The soapy cycle

‘I’ go out with you.

Then I go out with your mother while I’m going out with you.

You find out I’m going with your mother and break up with me.

Meanwhile … you start going out with my best friend.

I find out your going out with my best friend and get angry with you.

You say, “you hypocrite!”

Your Mother finds out I am going out with you and breaks up with me.

In time … you forgive me and start going out with me again.

And the whole thing starts all over again only this time, you start the ball rolling first.
