I have decided.

I have decided

that the world is divided between the strong and the weak,

between the rich and the poor,

between those who ‘have not’

and those who have more than enough.

Divided by minorities and majorities,

of whites and of blacks,

we seem to be shuffled like cards

to a segregated pack.

Separating me and you

with divisions galore,

but always divided

between the rich and the poor.

The world is divided I have decided

and it’s in a whole lot of strife.
