Book 20 Page 9

Every body wants something

The government wants a tax return.

The church wants me to know Jesus.

Every body wants something

and most times they say they “just want to please us.”

The Schools wants you to learn.

And parents want you to behave.

Every body wants something

until you go to your grave.

And I want them to all go away.

There like a plague of mice.

I wish they wouldn’t want anything

and leave me to my own devise.
