Murphy’s laws of universal certainty
The Zen of Murphy
Reality is what you make it!!!
Murphy ’s Law number one; “if you drop a buttered sandwich, it’s bound to hit the floor butter down.”
Murphy’s Law number two; "There is no god.”
----------------------------
Murphy’s Theories analyzed
· After considerable exhaustive experimentation, scientists have confirmed that indeed; Murphy’s Law regarding the “trajectory of sandwiches when falling” is quite correct. Although scientists accept that no one to date has been able to discover the intricate dynamics behind this phenomenon.
· Regarding Murphy’s second scientific law that; “there is no god”, theologians are still in debate.
However; many scientists argue that because Murphy was right on the first account - and in giving him fair dues on his considerable insight into the fall of sandwiches; Murphy is probably right on the second account.
Theologians however counter this argument saying; “Murphy was a good scientist but not a good theologian.”
------------------------------
What is particularly puzzling to both parties; (both the scientists and the theologians) is in Murphy’s assertions that “both mysteries would forever remain ‘unsolved.’”
