O I’m here, living

“O I’m here, living … still!”

Thought ‘I’ to myself in great happiness.

I was always surprised by life,

By waking up,

By dreaming,

By being awake again.

No doubt I will be this way when I am dead.

I just can’t imagine ‘not being surprised!’
