One more time
“One more time for joy”
thought the child,
asking for another push on the swing.
“One more time for hope”
thought the ticket buyer,
handing over another dollar.
“One more time for love,”
Said the lovers
to each other.
One more time
for joy, hope, and love.
One more time to
experience ‘being alive.’
