Book 21 Page 29

The world is too big

/ The world is too big

The world is too big,

there’s too many folks.

I want to get to know them all,

But hell! so much socializing

would indeed be a joke.

The world is too big,

so many gullies and mountains to climb.

I want to walk them all,

but in this one little life

there isn’t enough time.

The world is too big,

sitting within a universe that’s even bigger.

And it’s making me

feel so small,

just a wee little nipper.

The world is so big

I think I’ll go back inside.

Lock the doors

of my little house,

and hide.
