Fervent debate

Immediately upon the deepest of premises we hurdled ourselves fervently -and without the slightest regard for earthly consequences - into a, fierce and fiery debate.

It was as if we had locked horns as we began to push and pulled each others arguments in an antagonizing way, whilst all the time seeking to test and gauge each others strengths and weaknesses.

And in a moment, -in an almost ‘imperceptible moment we both decided that neither of us were willing to bend. And so we decided to back off and, (metaphorically speaking,) go back to our perspective corners.

And to this day I can tell you,

   I can tell you

     with all my heart,

      and with all my mind,

        and with all the strength in my soul that;

he was wrong.
