Book 21 Page 41

God is an idea

God is an idea,

your idea.

And upon this idea

you build your reality.

Upon the idea that God is an outside force

many build a god.

And upon such an idea

little is done ‘inside’ to acknowledge the God within.

Upon the idea that God is male

many build a god.

And upon such an idea

the female archetype is lost.

Upon the idea that god is not nature

many build a God.

And upon such an idea

is detachment of a 'living earthly' God.

Upon the idea that God is judgmental

many build a God.

And upon such an idea

self judgment is made in the name of God.

Upon the idea of god as completed and perfect

many build a God.

And upon such an idea

perfection is misunderstood and life and spontaneity is demeaned.

God is an idea

And upon this idea you build a house.

And it is this house that you live within.

God is an idea;

your idea / no one else’s.
