Book 26 Page 32

In the still of the night

In the still of the night they come,

to plunder / to rape / to kill.

They hide in the dark of the night like cowards,

to get their animalistic thrills.

Under the cover of night,

Under the cloak of the dark

they come; (these so called brave soldiers)

to extinguish life’s spark.

They come at this hour

so we will not be able to know who they are.

These chicken hearted men with axes in hand

wearing balaclava’s.

For they hide behind the nights cover

so they may easily carry out their will.

The men who come in the ‘nights still’

for the sole purpose to hurt and to kill.

They are the weak hearted murders, /

the coward’s of the human race.

And they come in the still of the night

afraid to show their face.
