Mirror mirror on the wall

“Mirror mirror on the wall,

who is it that my eyes behold?”

Your eyes behold your fleshy self,

the one with the blood and bones.

The one that calls ‘earth,’

your home.

“Mirror mirror on the wall,

is this all there is to recall?”

No, your fleshy self beholds you again, your energy self,

the one that is neither rich nor poor, flesh nor sex.

The one that travels from

one life to the next.

“Mirror mirror on the wall

Who does this ‘energy self’ behold?”

It is you, yet again.

This self beholds you the flesh, you ‘the energy,’

And it seeks to behold the one who looks

back from this mirror.

“Mirror mirror on the wall

Who does this shinny image recall?”

It tries to recall you in all forms.

I am the mirror and I shine the way.

I shine your duality; I shine the light of day.

Dare to walk into my image,

and you will find that which gives

all things merit.

Walk pass my shinny image and you will find,

your spirit.
