Something’s in the air
Something’s in the air,
the smell of 4 billion motor car fumes
and the smell of industries
toxics perfumes.
And that something in the air
is also in the seas,
for it’s traveled in the air
with the oceans breeze.
And that something in the air
is also in the ground.
Covering all of earth in small and large
pollution mounds.
Some things in the air
that’s not at all conducive to life.
And I hope that humanity has noticed and cares
about that “some thing in the air” less we’re all in strife.
'Something’s unhealthy' is in the air, /
the chemical cocktails of modern industrial man.
And that something is also in the
soil, / the seas, / the polar ice and sand.
I say; some things not right,
something's in the air!
