Something’s in the air

 

Something’s in the air,

the smell of 4 billion motor car fumes

and the smell of industries

toxics perfumes.

 

And that something in the air

is also in the seas,

for it’s traveled in the air

with the oceans breeze.

 

And that something in the air

is also in the ground.

Covering all of earth in small and large

pollution mounds.

 

Some things in the air

that’s not at all conducive to life.

And I hope that humanity has noticed and cares

about that “some thing in the air” less we’re all in strife.

 

'Something’s unhealthy' is in the air, /

the chemical cocktails of modern industrial man.

And that something is also in the

soil, / the seas, / the polar ice and sand.

 

I say; some things not right,

something's in the air!
