The soldiers plight

 

The soldiers peer out above their trenches, firing at the enemy.

In a rut in more ways than one.

 

The pilot looks down upon the town in which he shall bomb.

Higher and more out of it, than any drug could take you.

 

The submarine sailor loads the torpedoes to fire at will.

In a deeper dilemma than the deepest ocean.

 

Soldiers primed to kill, at societies will.

And in this, there is more confusion than most will ever know.
