These are the days of our lives
Like sands through an hour glass
these are the days of our lives.
Living life like actors in a soap drama,
with daily heart ache’s / and struggles and strife.
Where reality really is sometimes more dramatic than ‘fiction’s’
for the average family / husband and wife.
When truth becomes even stranger than friction,
in the ordinary days of our life.
Like sands through an hour glass,
these are the days of our life.
