Thinking about the human race

 

Thinking about the human race,

Thinking maybe it’s a god dame disgrace.

Everybody seems to be in such haste.

Everything’s going at such a pace.

And O! There’s so much, so much waste!

It seems that society is content to operate on the 

lowest common denominator moral base.

 

So I’m just sitting here,

thinking about the human race.

Thinking about that thing I’m so intimately a part of.
