Too Grand a message

Most people didn’t understand,

For the message was ‘too lofty and grand.’

They said he said something about “the small being great.”

Something about “the children being grand.”

Something about “the slave being the master.”

Something about “the meek being strong.”

Something about “the quality of all.”

“So many illogical contradictions,” the people said.

So they shoed the messenger away.
