When Jesus comes again

When Jesus comes again,

I’m ganna be ready.

Ganna have me bible in hand,

and a heart that is steady.

Ganna say to him,

“it’s nice to see you, it’s been a while.”

And then maybe,

he and I will smile.

And I’ll be expecting him to congratulate me,

for holding on to the one true faith.

“Come into heaven” he’s ganna say to me,

“come on up me good old mate.”

And the righteous one is ganna deal with all the ‘bad’ people,

in his righteous inimitable stile.

And sends them all to hell forever no doubt,

and others to purgatory for a while.

But I’ll be sitting with the father,

and we’ll reminisce of earthly misgivings.

And I’ll just casually mention how I always thought of him,

at Easter and thanks giving’s.

And I, Yes I believe I’m ganna be forgiven for my few sins,

for my heart to Jesus has been steadfast and true.

But what he does with anyone else,

well that’s up to Jesus and you.

But as for me, I know in my heart that when Jesus comes,

I’m ganna be ready.

what about you!?
